Hello and welcome!
Carol Wu has more than ten years of experience in the residential architecture field with focus being in architecture, interior, and graphic design. She also has an experienced structural and civil engineering team which assists her in providing her clients with a complete set of architectural drawing services required by the city building department. Drawings include, but are not limited to, floor plans, elevations, electrical, roof, details, renderings, structural, and correction modification. She works closely with clients to ensure the design and building keep their interests at the forefront of the project.
Since the implementation of the 2017 ADU legal requirements, both home owners and property investors have used her services and expertise to add more space for loved ones, increase rental income, or simply add more square footage to the main property.

How long does it take to get a building permit in the city?

Overall processing time to obtain a new single family dwelling building permit is typically six months to one year from submittal to issuance of the permit. Plan check turnaround times for “log-in” plan checks vary due to workload.
